Microwave ovens are probably mankind’s greatest invention (well almost!). Apart from heating and reheating our food, it can whip up the most delicious desserts in few minutes. One such dessert is the Nutella cake. It’s so easy and yet so scrumptious you will regret not knowing the recipe before.
Here’s how you make it:
You will need:
½ cup of all-purpose flour
8 tbsp. of fine granulated sugar
85 gms of butter
2 tbsp. of chocolate chips (optional)
4 tbsp. of cocoa powder
2 tbsp. of Nutella
1 spoon of vanilla extract
Just combine all the ingredients and mix till it forms a smooth batter. Spoon the batter into 4 ramekins/mugs and microwave them for 2 minutes (You may have to vary the time according to the strength of the microwave). Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or whipped cream.
This dessert is best consumed warm and fresh, but the cold version too is toothsome. The texture is like a brownie but it is way more chocolaty and yummy than a brownie could ever get.
