An upset stomach is the worst! It is uncomfortable, nauseating, and what not. You want to eat something because you are dehydrated but you don’t want to make it worse. What do you do? You eat foods that will help you!
- Yogurt: Plain unsweetened yogurt has been known to soothe an upset stomach. This is especially beneficial if you are having diarrhea because yogurt consists of healthy bacteria.
- Apple cider vinegar: Apple cider vinegar is made from apples. It is a fermented juice. Upset stomach is usually caused because of less amount of acid in the stomach as opposed to the common myth of too much acid. This vinegar will, thus, help you. It is also loaded with vitamin, which is a plus!
- Ginger: If you are nauseated and are having vomiting episodes, ginger will help you. Boil water and add ginger pieces to it. Once it steeps, filter and drink the ginger concoction. Alternatively, you can drink ginger tea.
- Mint: Drinking mint tea is an excellent idea to ease the discomfort. It will also get rid of gas and cramping. If you are worried about heart burn you can choose chamomile tea instead.
